2023 GCRA Tech Seminar Sponsorship Donation

Assist in strengthening Georgia Court Reporters Association by helping to underwrite the expense of GCRA’s 2023 Annual Virtual Tech Seminar. GCRA is bringing in top-notch speakers and software trainers within the most recognized court reporting software companies that our voice and steno reporters use. Your support of GCRA’s 2023 Annual Virtual Tech Seminar goes such a long way. Each sponsor receives special acknowledgement during the conference and will have their hyperlinked logo posted on GCRA media platforms promoting the seminar. In addition, for any sponsorship $1,500 and above, GCRA will provide acknowledgement of your support through 2023 via our website for hundreds of court reporters to see, and GCRA will also showcase your company’s name at a future event. Funds could also be used to protect the integrity of memorializing legal proceedings within the state of Georgia.

Help us fully fund and strengthen our lobbyist and our voices as Georgia certified court reporters.Our concerns for 2023 include: Revisions to the Court Reporting Act, how digital recording is being written into law, eliminating payment for civil takedown in state court, freelancers having to charge same rates as officials in state/superior courts, Board of Court Reporting to set copy rates in depositions.See the Protect The Record! tab for resources on current legislative action. As GCRA is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit corporation, Defense Fund donations are not tax deductible.
